Itinerary
At the Bike & Smile offices, a private taxi will be waiting to take you to Los Gemelos (The Twins), where the bike route will begin.
This area has a very interesting landscape as they are sinkholes originated by volcanoes surrounded by a humid forest with unique species.
After this visit, the tour leader will give you instructions for the descent towards Primicias Ranch at the El Chato reserve. Here, you can observe white-cheeked pintails, finches and free-roaming Galapagos Giant Tortoises. You can take incredible photos with them.
Then, you will take a walk through the Lava Tunnels, which are volcanic formations that served as channels for lava flow thousands of years ago. Today, it is one of the most interesting places on the island. To end the walk, there will be a tasting of organic coffee grown in the Galapagos.
Finally, you will descend by bicycle from the Santa Rosa neighborhood to Puerto Ayora, concluding this spectacular route.
